[3.1] EleBuzzsaw – Elemental Spectral Throw Ranger (Raider)

Intro & build description

For those who want a solid all-around build, that has it all – EleBuzzsaw is a way to go. Very fast clear speed, good boss killer and exceptional scaling are some of the things this build has. I am very sure it will fare well in new content that comes with 3.1 (Abyss and Elder).

Build Pros

  • Satisfying to play, especially with spectral throw MTX
  • Very fast clear and movement speed
  • Can do almost all map mods
  • Cheap to start, gets insanely strong with currency investment

Helmet

Rat's Nest

Usually one of the best choices for crit builds. Can be a bit expensive at the beginning, so you can use rare evasion helm with life and resistances until you can get Rat’s nest.

Body Armour

Belly of The Beast

Belly is great chest for the build, gives us some tankiness in form of more life.

Gloves

Gripped Gloves

Definitely look for Gripped gloves as their implicit scales our damage very well.

DO NOT use enchantment on the gloves.

Stats-wise look for life, attack speed, some resistances. Any flat elemental damage is great bonus but can get expensive.

Boots

Two-Toned Boots

Look for Two-Toned boots with high life, and as much resists as you can get.

Movement speed is a nice bonus but not mandatory as we use whirling blades for movement.

Left Ring

Opal Ring

Ideally look for Opal Rings with as high elemental damage with attacks mod as you can find, pair it with some life and you are good.
Rings in this build can get a bit expensive.

Right Ring

Opal Ring

Same as previously mentioned ring.

Amulet

Onyx Amulet

We use amulet to get as much damage as possible, so look for:

Elemental damage with attacks, global crit multiplier and global crit chance.

If you can master-craft life on it, that’s ideal.

Belt

Leather Belt

Look for Leather belt with as high life as you can find, coupled with elemental damage with attacks mod. Resistance is a nice bonus.

1Hand Weapon

Imperial Claw

Weapon is extremely important for the build so try to get as high elemental dps as you can.

Best base you can get is Imperial claw because of attack speed and 6.0 base crit.

Stats-wise, look for:

High lightning damage, High cold damage, attack speed, crit and high fire damage.

Claws like that can get pricey so you can drop fire damage until you can afford it.

Offhand

Lycosidae

Important piece for the build because of “Your Hits can’t be evaded” mod.

Jewel

Jewel setup

On jewels look for:

1.) Increased maximum life
2.) Any attack speed mod (while holding shield / with one handed weapons etc)
3.) Increased Projectile Damage
4.) Crit multiplier
5.) Crit chance
6.) Any attributes or resistances if you are lacking

Flask

Flask Setup

1.) Instant Recovery Divine Life flask with bleed removal
2.) Eternal Life flask with freeze removal
3.) Vessel of Vinktar (Flat lightning damage version)
4.) Silver Flask
5.) Atziri’s Promise

  1. what kind of The Pantheon need to use it

  2. Uber lab, guardians, are they viable?

  3. Hi,

How do you substain mana ?

Nice build ! trying it in abyss

  4. what kind of Silver Flask stats ?

  5. Quick question, why do you not use blood rage in this build? won’t you benefit from the attack speed?

  6. also, how do you get enough INT to max out your skill gems? where do you grab that stat on items? There is not enough on the skill tree to say max out wrath

    • gems

You can use Blood Rage if you want, I just don’t.

You can always alter the tree by a point or 2 and grab something that you need, it’s not carved in stone.

  7. another question: what are you expecting the crit chance to be? It seems odd to me that we are putting the crit dmg jewel into the 6 link, but my chance is < 35% with all crit nods and a claw at 6.3%

Is there more crit chance I am missing?
