Intro & build description
This build specializes in clearing maps quickly. Gameplay, as with all cast on crit builds, is very satisfying and engaging due to the fast-paced playstyle. I would not recommend starting this build in a new league as a first character if you are a new player, but with some adjustments to the tree, it definitely can be done.

Rare Vaal RegaliaCrusader influenced chest with the explosion mod. This mod can be expensive but it is worth it. Get it once you can afford it. Until then, use rare chest with high ES and elemental resistances.

Algor MortisUse rare gloves with elemental resistances and high ES till you get your hands on Algor Mortis.
Left Ring
Rare RingRare ring with high elemental resistances and necessary stats you are lacking as well as flat energy shield.
Right Ring
Rare RingRare ring with high elemental resistances and necessary stats you are lacking as well as flat energy shield.
Amulet
Rare AmuletRare amulet with increased % maximum energy shield, critical strike multiplier and elemental resistances.
Belt
Rare Stygian ViseRare stygian vise or crystal belt with flat energy shield and resistances. Any additive mods are just bonus.
1Hand Weapon
Rare Sceptre/DaggerWeapon with spell or lightning damage, critical strike chance for spells and flat lightning damage to spells. Combining all of the mods with high values in one item can be expensive.
The most important mod on the weapon, however, is ”Hits can’t be evaded” to make sure we proc as much as we can.
Offhand
Rare ShieldRare ES based shield with high ES, spell or lightning damage and critical strike chance for spells. Any resistances on the shield are bonus.

Thread of HopeThread of Hope with a large radius is socketed next to ”Instability” notable. It allows us to grab Deep Wisdom, Arcane Focus, Utmost Intellect and Light Eater.
