Intro & build description
If you are into clearing full screen of mobs with effortless mine detonations and always wanted to try out a wander build, look no further. Secrets of the Atlas expansion is a great opportunity to get started fresh. While the wander builds usually are not the most newbie friendly builds to choose from, they are not as complex as it might seem at the beginning, given you will follow the suggested skill tree and item picks. In any case, fun is guaranteed.

Rare Body ArmourIn general, you want to get a hybrid evasion/energy shield base with high evasion (1000+) and high energy shield (400+). Elemental resistances or spell suppression is a bonus, which could get expensive. As long as chest has a high ES/Evasion, you are covered.
Gloves
Rare GlovesIdeal pair of gloves will have decent energy shield, accuracy, lightning damage to attacks and elemental resistances.
Based on the rest of the gear, it is completely fine to sacrifice a stat or two if it is covered elsewhere.
Boots
Rare BootsLook for pair of boots with high movement speed (at least 25%), high energy shield and elemental resistances.
Left Ring
Rare RingFor the rings, we are looking for flat lightning damage to attacks, accuracy, elemental resistances and/or maximum energy shield.
Right Ring
Rare RingWe are looking for flat lightning damage to attacks, accuracy, elemental resistances and/or maximum energy shield.
Adjust the stats based on the needs/requirements for the character.
Amulet
Marylene's FallacyGreat amulet which provides insane amount of critical strike multiplier, at the cost of reduced critical strike chance. Luckily, wanders can stack crit quite easily to overcome the downside of the amulet.
Alternatively, you can use any rare amulet with flat lightning damage to attacks, crit chance/multi and elemental resistances.
Belt
Stygian ViseGo for Sygian Vise belt base for additional jewel socket. For stats, we want increased elemental damage with attack skills, trap and mine throwing speed and elemental resistances.
1Hand Weapon
Rare WandRare wand with high spell damage %, flat lightning damage, high critical strike chance and elemental resistance penetration.
Offhand
Rare ShieldIdeal shield for the build will have a high spell damage % (to boost power siphon damage), paired with life and/or elemental resistances. Spell suppression is also recommended, but such shield could be quite expensive.

Watcher's EyeTo boost damage even further, look for WE with increased lightning damage while affected by Wrath.
