Intro & build description
If you enjoy fast movement speed playstyle while shattering full screen of mobs and doing massive single target damage all combined in a single build, Poet’s Pen pathfinder is the way to go. Fast movement speed and clear speed makes you able to complete maps within minutes. If acquiring currency quickly is something you want to do in the upcoming league, I suggest you giving Poet’s Pen pathfinder a chance.

why is there glacial cascade in the armor and the weapon?Also there should be a better image showing the links exactly. For example a 2 link or 3 or such.

you use frenzy in the chest piece linked to cast on crit so whenver you crit with frenzy you cast glacial cascade. you use the poets pen glacial cascade to cast it with poets pen
I am also confused by that, I know that you want it in the weapon for Poet Pen to work.
for anyone else reading and not understanding – the cast on crit gem will cast glacial cascade when frenzy crits, meaning you get more glacial cascade triggers since the cast on crit gem works on a different cooldown than the poet’s pen
What’s the purpose of the bladefall/crit in the other poet’s pen?
Can you add your pantheon/vessel opinions for this build?

I’m having trouble getting the initial chaos for the the poet pen
its around 40c for 2 poets, so unless you are extremely lucky with an exalt it can be quite difficult! :<
What have you guys been using until you get Poet Pen?
I just used two rare wands with as high spell damage as possible. Worked without much problems!
This build gets absolutely bonkers when you start investing currency into it. I did however prefer switching tombfist with a pair of rare gloves, and using Rat’s nest in helmslot instead for even more attack speed and movement speed, as I felt i could sacrifice some HP for even more damage.
when i put my glacial cascade in poets pen it says skill cant be used, i have the level and the intelligence
You cannot directly use the skills socketed in Poet’s Pen, you trigger them when you attack with your Frenzy Setup from body armour.
so which skill do i fire then when attacking?
Frenzy? Is that my main skill?
What about the GC unique jewel (The Long Winter). Necessary or helpful at all? Better option than good rare jewels?

Based on PoB (https://pastebin.com/2kuKEbXf) this will have low endgame damage (Maximal 300k). So its just for quickfarmig.

Why dont we get Phase Acrobatics, is it not a good survivability passive?
I really like this build, I am currently at lvl 80. But I find it really hard to keep myself alive at tier 7/8 maps and above. and dont even get my startet on Atziri. She instant kills me every time. full cap’ed ress and 4k hp. Any advice? 🙂
The problem most likely is you are not familiar with build yet, because this build has taken down Atziri, Uber Atziri, Elder, Shaper and all guardians. Try leveling up a couple of levels and upgrading some life because 4k is pretty low for 80 lvl. This build around 90 with some good gear is around 5.3k-5.5k hp. Hope it helps 🙂
Why do you use tombfist? the gloves proc only on attacks but Glacial cascade and bladefall both are spells…
Mostly used for jewel sockets since abyssal jewels are so strong, it is possible to use lightpoacher or just rare gloves. As for attacks, we do attack with frenzy so maim is not wasted which makes them slowed.
You don’t actually CAST Glacial or Bladefall, you ATTACK with the wands which proc the spells, therefore Tombfist does trigger.
Wish I could edit, as Prime mentions further along this thread you are attacking with Frenzy, which makes your wands do the attack which goes with what I said previously.
This site offers a number of good builds with a lot of info on them but kind of assumes you have a good working knowledge of how the game is played in various fashions.
Ergo it assumes you can figure part of it out without explaining many of a particular builds, um particulars.
I dont feel like my other glacial’s are proccing and going off just from me doing the frenzy ability ??

No, regular rare jewels with life, physical damage to spells, global critical strike multiplier.
It procs glacial cascade first, then it procs bladefall and repeats the cycle over and over again while you are attacking.
Would using ‘The long Winter’ jewel be good for this build?
Rare jewel with life, global critical strike multiplier, physical damage to attacks would be way better, it out-scales long winter.
Do all sockets in chest need to be linked? so expensive.
6-link is your goal when build is ”finished”, it will work perfectly fine with 4-link.
So, I don’t get why glacial is in two places and how this build really works. Im new and would like some explaining 🙂
You attack with frenzy which then casts the spells from your wands, 1st cast is glacial cascade, second is bladefall. On top of that, if you critically strike with frenzy, you cast another glacial cascade from your chest. 🙂
In Tombfist gloves shoud I use murderous and searching jewels to get additional mods or its better to use hypnotic jewels for spell damage boost? Or otherwise, which stats should I look for in abyss jewels in my gloves?

how do we kill aztiri with this? I have gear that gives me 100% reduced reflect but it gimps my dmg/life, is there another way to kill her during reflect phase?

How fast is this? Can it compete with wander? I’m just a bit worried because the whole way you start your procs is with frenzy. Right? And frenzy seems a bit slow compared to doing something like a freezing pulse on lmp where you can hit and crit much faster and move much faster. Also is there any videos I can watch about it showing gameplay because I would like to see it in action to completely deny everything I’m saying .

I was wondering which flask you would recommend the most, regardless of the price, between the Wise Oak and the Taste of Hate?
Hard to say, I’d pick both if I could 😀 Taste of Hate is good all-around flask – gives you damage and makes you tankier as well, so I’d probably go for that if I had to choose from these 2.

I have a question:
Do i use Frenzy when atacking a Boss, or just use the normal attack?
You use frenzy for every attack, as it triggers the skill gems that are socketed in our Poet’s Pens.
Is this build good for beginner? As a beginner should I follow the passive tree and when I get to late game I can start getting the items & gems needed?

If you don’t have lots of experience with the game, it’s good to follow tree as close as possible. I think this is not a very beginner-friendly build as it involves some of the more complex mechanics game has to offer.
But generally yes, follow the tree and level up, perhaps spend some time farming for currency until you can afford the items needed for the build, in Act 6 you will be able to buy all the skill gems.

Just hitting maps with this build and having some sustainability issues. Should I be getting leech from frenzy?
It is super fun build, thanks for putting it together. But yeah, I have some mana regen but apparently not nearly enough as I find I still need to carry a potion for it.
I feel super squishy too… capped res, only 4.2k hp but it drops in an instant another 1000 will help obviously but I don’t see how I can sustain was my question.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Would you actually level up Frenzy in this or just keep it at level 1 to save mana?
