Intro & build description
Ever wanted to make heralds your primary skills and let them do all the monster killing for you while you pick up currency? Build requires some investment, but is well worth it. One of the most enjoyable experiences I have had playing the game, but sadly, build can’t do hardest encounters, like Shaper and Atziri. It is meant to clear maps very, very quickly while making lots of currency. To get heralds started, all you have to do is shield charge into pack and let your heralds proceed while you shield charge through rest of the map.
Build Pros
- Extreme clear speed
- Almost don't have to target mobs, Herald of Thunder does it for you
- Not expensive to start with
- Very fun to play and do maps (maps are done in ~2 minutes)
- Herald of Ice exploding screens of monsters
- Very good damage
Build Cons
- Can't do hardest encounters, build is mean for satisfying and fast map clearing
- Can't level up as an auto bomber from the beginning, you will have to respec

Lightpoacher or The Tempest's BindingLightpoacher is an endgame upgrade, so is Tempest’s Binding if you have enough currency. Rare helmet works just fine till you farm enough to make that purchase.
Body Armour
The Coming CalamityMust have item for heralds to always reserve 45% of your mana regardless of amount of support links you add.
Gloves
Rare GlovesRare gloves with attack speed, high life and good amount of elemental resistances. If you have enough money, look for gloves crafted with Essence of Insanity for 16% more attack speed which makes you clear maps even faster.
Boots
Rare BootsRare boots with high movement speed (25%-30%), high life and elemental resistances. I suggest to go with energy shield based boots since its easier to get 3B1G color.
Amulet
Choir of the StormAgain, very endgame upgrade. Use rare amulet with life, global critical strike chance and global critical strike multiplier.
Belt
Bisco's LeashRampage! Very solid belt for extra damage, explosions and loot! + you get monster count you killed if you go fast enough. Jokes aside, if you feel like using any other belt, feel free to suit it for your needs. Rare Stygian Vise is a solid choice.
Offhand
Esh's MirrorSince build shield charges and kills whole screens of monsters very quickly, we benefit immensely from Esh’s Mirror. Added lightning damage is absurd.
Jewel
Pure TalentBuild gets pretty good bonuses from Pure talent, global critical strike chance and if you are willing to sacrifice 3 points, you can connect it to templar’s starting location for 5% elemental damage penetration. Spell damage doesn’t scale heralds damage.
Jewel
Rare Jewels- Increased Damage
- Increased Area Damage
- Increased maximum life
- Increased Global Critical Strike Multiplier
Flask
Flask Setup- Experimenter’s Diamond Flask of Warding
- Chemist’s Silver Flask of Staunching
- Alchemist’s Sulphur Flask of Heat
- Alchemist’s Quicksilver Flask of Adrenaline
- Divine Life Flask or Dying Sun
I have 3k life with your fucking build….
If you need more tankiness, adjust your tree a bit, it’s not set in stone! For 4 skill points you can grab Devotion notable and 2x 6% life nodes connected to it, plus you have 5 jewels slots, with potentially 25-35% increased maximum life with jewels in it! With abyss jewels, you should really be able to get much higher life. Also, you can easily substitute your unique helm or belt for more defensive option such as rare Stygian Vise or rare helmet with high life and res.
Are you using any ES gear? I mean some of the gear like the chest piece and stuff are ES based and it is an assassin soooo you might have to rethink the build a little. Also, are you getting life in your gear because that might help if you don’t then your nearly losing out on all the tree has to give?
In con. it states: “Can’t level up as an auto bomber from the beginning, you will have to re-spec” actually I can say this is false, it’s insane how good it levels with you and only just keeps getting better! I love how well it works right off the start. With a little bit of adjusting (later on but not really to hard), I started using blade vortex with ancestral protect (to get faster vortex’s) and with the heralds, I was able to speed kill nearly every boss I have faced so far and with yellow mobs… psssh…. more like white mobs and white mobs are just sand lol. Loving the build so far and the only unique i have on is wanderlust but that’s because I needed a 4L for blade vortex: BV, Arcane surge, controlled destruction, spell echo (use faster attack until able to get echo). Currently, lvl 53 and loving it… Thanks for build… only wish yall had a path of building Pastebin but I’m just picky.
