[3.5] Bloodseeker Blade Flurry Shadow (Assassin)

Intro & build description

Bloodseeker is a unique claw that not a lot of people are using, but in reality, it can be a great item to make your build around. With the instant leech mod, this claw allows us to become almost immortal if there is something to leech life from.

Build Pros

  • Extremely high life leech which allows us to facetank most stuff
  • Very fast clearspeed, can use Whirling Blades to move around
  • 100% hit chance due to Lycosidae
  • Great as a league starter build

Build Cons

  • Susceptible to one-shots

Helmet

Starkonja's Head

Great helm for most attack builds providing us with life, attack speed and crit.

Body Armour

Loreweave

Loreweave is great, balanced option for the build providing offense and defense.

Gloves

Tombfist

Look for Tombfist with 2 abyssal sockets.

Put Abyss jewels with life, critical strike multiplier, physical damage to attacks in these sockets.

Boots

Rare Boots

Look for boots with high life and resistances. Movement speed could be nice bonus but it’s not necessary since we move around with Whirling Blades most of the time.

Also you should try to get “Adds 1-160 lightning damage if you haven’t killed recently” enchant from the Uber Lab.

Left Ring

Rare Ring

Look for rare ring with life and resistances. Elemental damage with attacks is great bonus but can be expensive.

Right Ring

Rare Ring

Pretty much the same as previous ring.

Amulet

Rare Elder Amulet

As an amulet we should be looking for rare Elder amulet with 2 options:

Gain x% of Non-Chaos Damage as extra Chaos Damage”

and

Gain x% of Physical Damage as Extra Fire Damage

If you could get critical strike multiplier on top of these 2 mods, it would be absolutely insane, but the 2 mods are extremely strong even without the multiplier.

If you cannot get these 2 mods together, go for the first one – it’s still really strong.

Belt

Stygian Vise

Go for Stygian Vise with high life and resistances.

1Hand Weapon

Bloodseeker

A must-have item for the build. Get it as soon as you can equip it.

Offhand

Lycosidae

Also a must-have for the build: this shield makes sure we always hit enemies which is extremely important for crit builds.

Bloodseeker and this shield are 2 things that you should be focusing on getting first.

Jewel

Watcher's Eye

Look for Watcher’s Eye with “Gain x% of Physical Damage as Extra Lightning Damage while affected by Wrath” mod.

Jewel

Build's Jewels

Ideally look for jewels with 2 critical strike multiplier mods and increased maximum life.

Jewel could look like this:

1.) Increased maximum life
2.) %to global critical strike multiplier
3.) %to critical strike multiplier with one-handed weapons
4.) another damage mod / attributes / resistances

Flask

Flask Setup

1.) Silver Flask with freeze removal
2.) Sulphur Flask with bleed removal
3.) Atziri’s Promise
4.) Taste of Hate
5.) Lion’s Roar / Sin’s Rebirth (expensive option)
