[PoE 3.11 Build] Fast-Clearing Crit Spark Templar (Inquisitor)

Intro & build description

If your favourite things to do in Path of Exile are running maps and farming currency and items, this build is for you. Spark builds are known for their top-tier clear speed and this one is no different. Despite its fast clear, it also has pretty good single target damage, enough to take down Uber Elder.

Build Pros

  • Really good clear speed
  • Good single target damage
  • Straightforward build to gear and play
  • All map mods, except elemental reflect are viable
  • Good as a league starter due to cheap items

Build Cons

  • Spark helmet enchants are expensive

Crown of The Inward Eye

One of the, if not the best helmet for the build, but it’s hard to get with 3 extra spark projectiles enchantment.

Other options include Rat’s Nest, Starkonja’s Head, Rare helmet with life and resistances.

Body Armour

Rare Body armour

Ideally look for Vaal regalia with high life and resistances. Any extra energy shield you can get is also great.

Rare Energy shield gloves

Look for gloves with 70+ life and high resistances. Any extra energy shield is good as well.

You could also look for incursion gloves with life, resistances and Puhuarte mod – (46–48)% to Cold Resistance
(30–50)% increased Damage with Hits against Chilled Enemies. They are usually cheaper than you’d think.

Energy shield boots

Look for rare energy shield based boots with high life, 30% increased movement speed and some resistances. Extra energy shield is great bonus.

Voidwalker would be another great option.

Left Ring

Call of The Brotherhood

A must have item for the build – it gives us lightning to cold damage conversion, damage and extra shocks.

Right Ring

Rare Ring

Look for rare ring with high life, mana, some energy shield and resistances.

Choir of The Storm

Great amulet for crit spark build – gives us lots of extra damage, crit and clear speed.

Stygian Vise

Look for rare Stygian vise with life, some energy shield and resistances.

2Hand Weapon

Duskdawn is our weapon of choice. It has everything we are looking for in a weapon – tons of damage mods.

Try to get 5-linked one as soon as possible, and when you have currency, 6-linked one.

Jewel Setup

Build uses 1 Hazardous Research unique jewel. Put in in socket just on the bottom right of Quick Recovery node.

On rare jewels look for:

1.) Increased maximum life
2.) Global critical strike multiplier / with elemental skills / with lightning skills
3.) Any cast speed mod that applies to us
4.) Resistances and attributes if you are lacking

Flask Setup

1.) Instant Recovery Divine Life flask with bleed removal
2.) Diamond Flask with shock immunity – use for bossfights
3.) Atziri’s Promise
4.) Vessel of Vinktar (Adds lightning damage to spells during flask effect version)
5.) Quicksilver Flask of Adrenaline / Lavianga’s Spirit

Feel free to share your thoughts/experiences/tips about the build in comments section below.

About gems

Always tries to keep up with the game, its ever-changing mechanisms and explain them in understandable manner.

One comment

  1. Is the Energy Leech Support correct on the weapon? It’s listed as a green gem. Not sure if it’s simply supposed to be blue, or if in fact it’s meant to be a green gem and the Energy Leech Support is a typo.
